Spinal Energetics
Spinal Energetics is a powerful modality that interacts with the client's spine, nervous system, and energetic field, to awaken the innate intelligence within the body to heal itself.
It releases stored emotions, trauma, pain, stress, and energetic imbalances that hinder our physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being.

Through light yet powerful touch an organic flow of movement begins and progresses to shift, unwind, discover, and release tension, trauma, resistance, and stories stored in the body.

Spinal Energetics brings your nervous system back into a parasympathetic state and out of fight, flight, freeze and fawn.​ It is a great modality for those new to energy healing. Please make sure to read through the contraindications below to see if this is the right fit for you.

Contraindications:
​
Pregnancy/ Postpartum
We advise that Spinal Energetics is unsuitable during pregnancy. Spinal Energetics is also not suitable during the first 3-6 months of postpartum.
​
Children
Spinal Energetics is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Children between 13-18 need to have their guardian present during treatment.
​
Elderly
Spinal Energetics practitioners can treat clients up to the age of 75. Clients between the ages of 70 and 75 should be treated with extra caution. It is up to the practitioner's discretion to determine these clients' mobility capabilities and assess if they can cope with treatment.
The following conditions MUST NOT be treated by Spinal Energetics. Each client is obligated to be honest in their new client forms and reveal all relevant conditions to their practitioner.
- Diagnosed Severe PTSD
- Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis) 

- Currently taking HEAVY medication that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-
anxiety, anti-psychotic)
- Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries
- Epilepsy 

- History or diagnosis of aneurysms 

- Cardiovascular problems 

- History of seizures 

- Severe Asthma 

- Heart disease 

- Heart conditions 

- Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition, emotional crisis, or spiritual emergence
within the past three years
- Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect their
ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.

Spinal Energetics practitioners cannot treat any person under the influence of any illicit substances or plant medicine.
